Picnic Tables and Grills

Reservable Shelter Houses

Turkey Run State Park has five reservable shelter houses that are open from 9 am to 11 pm. These covered, non-enclosed buildings come equipped with electricity, picnic tables, grills, drinking water, and a parking spur. Some shelters even include a fire ring, playground, and/or restrooms. The Turkey Run State Park Campground features 213 electric (Class A) campsites, 6 of which are wheelchair accessible. Youth Tent Camp

For groups of 10 or more with campers under 21 years and their adult leaders, the park offers two Youth Tent Camps. These campsites include fire rings, picnic tables, pit toilets, and a drinking water supply near the campground.

Camp Store

During peak seasons, the camp store is open to supply campers with food, firewood, and other camping necessities.

Camping Reservations

Reservations for campsites can be made up to 6 months in advance by calling 1-866-6CAMP-IN or online. A non-refundable transaction fee of $5 is charged for each new advance reservation made online or by phone.

Firewood

Firewood is available for purchase at the camp store. Gathering firewood from the forest is not allowed.
