The first 50% of reservations for each weekend day become available on December 1st at 8 am PST, while the final 50% become available two days before the visit. Parking and Viewing
The closest parking to Horsetail Fall is the Yosemite Falls Parking Area near Yosemite Valley Lodge. However, parking, stopping, or unloading passengers is prohibited between Camp 4 and El Capitan during the ‘Firefall season’. Visitors can park at Yosemite Village and use the free shuttle to reach the Yosemite Falls Parking Area.
To view Horsetail Fall, visitors should park at Yosemite Falls parking and walk 1.5 miles (each way) to the viewing area near El Capitan Picnic Area. If this parking is full, visitors can park at Yosemite Village or Curry Village and use the free shuttle to get to Yosemite Falls parking/Yosemite Valley Lodge.
