The Liberty State Park Music Festival is a free concert series held at Liberty State Park in Jersey City, New Jersey. This long-running event, now in its 42nd year, offers a diverse lineup of music genres, including rock, jazz, R&B, folk, Latin, alt-country rock, and Broadway & show tunes. The festival takes place on Tuesday and Sunday evenings, providing entertainment for all ages.
Locations and Timings
The Liberty State Park Music Festival is held in two brand new locations within the park:
- Sunday Concert Series: The Sunday concerts take place at the North Cove Field, behind the ferry parking lot on Audrey Zapp Drive. The concerts start at 6 pm and run until 8 pm.
- Tuesday Concert Series: The Tuesday concerts are held at the South Overlook Lawn, near the picnic area and flags, on the park’s southside. These concerts start at 6:30 pm and run until 8:30 pm.

Additional Summer Concerts in Jersey City
In addition to the Liberty State Park Music Festival, Jersey City also hosts the Summer in the City concert series, which brings live music and film to various locations throughout the city. This series includes:
